Welcome to Wise School K-6!
Our rigorous K-6 program provides a traditional academic curriculum with a robust balance of language literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, visual and performing arts, Hebrew and Judaic studies, and educational technology. Our unique Wise Learning Process, created with our partners at USC’s Rossier School of Education, incorporates novel strategies in gifted education into all subject areas–for all our students. Our attention to Mindfulness helps build in children the ability to focus and be fully-present, in their studies and with each other. This holistic approach engages young minds with academic content in deeper and more-complex ways, developing critical and creative and reflective thinkers who are also empathetic collaborators and insightful problem-solvers. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and awarded by the California Association for the Gifted, our one of a kind Wise Learning Process helps prepare our young scholars for the interconnected and complex world of tomorrow.

Our Judaic Studies program allows our students to express themselves B’Ivrit (in Hebrew) naturally and organically as bilingual learners and engage in personal inquiry through art, music, and technology while learning Jewish Studies. We enable our students to experience wholeness when celebrating Kabbalat Shabbat, participating in invigorating and uplifting services and by emphasizing our connection to Israel.
Wise Learning Process creates an environment of academic excellence and a growth mindset. We organize learning around Universal Themes and Big Ideas in order to provide a global perspective and to allow for interdisciplinary connections.
Wise School has an incredible academic program that is supplemented by extraordinary signature programs. From Project Studio to Mindfulness, and Odyssey of the Mind to Lego Robotics, experiential learning complements our program in significant ways.
