John Heffron, Wise School Principal

John Heffron has been a professional educator for ​over two decades.  His first full-time position was teaching 1^st grade for Tami Weiser at Palisades Charter Elementary!  From there, he transitioned to a Math coach position, and then an Instructional coach (literacy and math).  For ​the next six years, John was in leadership at Henderson International School in Nevada, starting as Lower School Principal, then adding Early Childhood to his responsibility, and finally rising to Director of Teaching & Learning for the entire school, Preschool – 9^th grades.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University, his Master of Education in Cross-Cultural Teaching from National University, and his Master of Arts in Educational Administration from CSUN.

The Heffron family are so happy to be “back home” in Los Angeles, where both Noah and Aiden were born, and where Petra earned her Master of Organizational Management from Antioch University.  John is especially thrilled to be able to work once again for Tami, his most influential mentor and leadership role model.
