Parent Wise

The Wise Parents Association is proud to present Parent Wise – our Parent Education series. Proceeds from WPA events and fundraisers have been reinvested into this program, to bring all Wise School parents an impressive lineup of speakers presenting on a broad range of compelling topics.

Wise School Gala: This is our annual Wise School celebration for our EC and Elementary School parents that can’t be missed!

Purim Carnival: Our Wise Carnival is the best, biggest, and most attended fundraising event of the year! All Wise families come out in droves to have eat, volunteer, and have the best time!

Party Book: Party Book is a great way for all Wise families to connect and have fun with one another throughout the school year – all while raising money for our school. We invite you to co-host, attend, and support these awesome parties for adults only, families, and those just for kids!

Wise Guys – To come

Elementary School Programs & Events

Back to Wise: What better way to start a new school year than being together as a community? Back to Wise is a chance to begin the year with a spiritual Shabbat, followed by a dinner, fun on the plaza, and all of the before-school necessities (such as picking up school supplies, committee sign-ups, etc.).

DK/Kindergarten Welcome: The newest parents and students of our Elementary School are invited for an afternoon of fun a few days before school starts to get to know one another and their new surroundings.

Midor L’Dor: The day before Thanksgiving, Wise School welcomes grandparents, uncles and aunts or that special someone in our children’s lives for a meaningful morning to celebrate the specials guests in your child(ren)’s lives. This event is for your children and special guests only.

Maccabi Games: Do you have fond memories of your own Field Day or color wars games? That’s exactly what Maccabi Games are – a day of fun, games, and school spirit for the whole family on the second-to-last day of school!

Wildcats Award Ceremony: This event at the end of the year celebrates our 4th-6th Grade Wildcat athletes. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Grade Level Morning Coffees: These mornings at Wise offer a chance for parents to socialize, ask questions, and hear from our Head of School, Tami Weiser, and school administrators.

Praying with Parents: These grade level Friday morning services give parents an opportunity to share in the beauty of our school Shabbat rituals with their children in a warm and intimate setting.

Grade Level Shabbat Dinners: Once a year, all families are invited to join our School administration and clergy for a special Grade Level Shabbat, followed immediately by a dinner, dancing, and community. RSVP required.

EC Programs & Events

Beit Issie Shapiro Farmer’s Market: During the year, our EC parents host a Farmer’s Market for all students and parents of the school to help support the children of Beit Issie Shapiro, an educational and medical facility in Israel for children with special need. Students can bring money to purchase a variety of goods. All proceeds benefit Beit Issie Shapiro.

Buddy Program: From the moment they are accepted to Wise, we want our new families to feel welcome as part of our community. Our Buddy Program pairs new families with returning families, to give the new families a chance to connect with someone immediately, as well as to ask questions all year long.
