Students Demonstrate Deep Learning and Creativity

Wise School students in grades 1-6 were invited to come up with innovative ideas to help conserve water after an interesting discussion in Art class on the drought in Southern California. In “Shark Tank style,” they presented their inventions to the class and students voted to select the most creative ones. By thinking like inventors, entrepreneurs and problem solvers, students were able to address an important social issue and learn ways to conserve water in their own homes. Congratulations to the winners in each grade, who received “Be WaterWISE” T-shirts as their prize!
