Dear Wise School Parents,

Wow! The end of the year is almost here and we have been busier than ever! I want to congratulate our Debate Team on their awesome performance at the final competition of the year last weekend, where they won Individual Speaker, Team, and Tournament awards. I also want to congratulate our 6th Grade Boys White Soccer Team for their championship win over Heschel on Monday. Last, but certainly not least, our Odyssey of the Minds teams are in Michigan right now competing in the World Finals – we wish our Wildcats the best of luck!

Word Wisdom Unit 7 | Assessment Soon | Details Coming Soon
Unit 7 is all about literature. We will have an assessment to wrap up the unit. The assessment will not have an analogies section.

5th Grade Judaic Studies
This week we honored Aiden Yedidsion, Bianca Dardashti, and Noah Gordon as Klei Kodesh leaders at our Thursday Shacharit service. Last week Sophia Morovati and Jonathan Bani-Esraili shared their D’var Torah in their class. Eli Pournazarian, Ryan Bakshian, and Ryan Khalili will share their D’var Torah in their respective classes.

Mindfulness & Meditation Course Summer 2017 | CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP

Location: Wise Temple: Chapel Study
This course is designed to teach and practice the fundamentals of mindfulness. Open to all levels. In this 6-week series, you will learn to bring mindfulness into your everyday life with concepts including: mindful breathing, body awareness, mindful listening, mindful emotions. This course will help you: reduce pain, improve impulse control, improve communication, decrease judgmental thinking, improve focus, deepen family relationships. Each class will consist of learning a new mindfulness concept, a meditation practice, and a group discussion with practical application. Click here to sign up online.

Led by Mrs Coatney, debate camp students will learn how to conduct research on current topics, form arguments, and practice refutations in a supportive, fun atmosphere.
